Hello! My name is Yara Abou Samra, and I am an aspiring 3D animator from Lebanon. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Art and Animation at DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, Washington.

Video games and movies have always amazed and inspired me. From an early age I have desired to contribute to them in some way and have a role in creating something of value that I enjoyed. I once attended an animation class at DigiPen during the summer as part of their ProjectFUN program, which was when I discovered that animation was my calling. And now, 3D animation has become something I love and enjoy to do, and I can't imagine any other career that would make me this happy.

My dream is to one day be able to point to an animation in a game or movie and say that "I made that", and see my name scroll up in the credits alongside numerous talented people.
